Bill Garner
Bill Garner is a research fellow at the National Centre for Australian Studies at Monash University where he is researching ideas of heritage landscape. His 2010 doctoral thesis ‘Land of Camps: The ephemeral settlement of Australia’ was awarded the Dennis-Wettenhall Prize for Australian History at the University of Melbourne. Born in a Tent, a history of camping in Australia, will be published by New South in 2013.
