Louise Zarmati
Louise Zarmati has worked as a high school history teacher, archaeologist and museum educator. She co-authored Experience Archaeology (Cambridge University Press, 1998) and Archaeology (Heinemann, 2004) with Aedeen Cremin, and wrote Pompeii and Herculaneum (Heinemann, 2005) for the New South Wales Ancient History Core Study. In 2005 she was awarded a New South Wales Premier's History Scholarship to research the work of Italian archaeologist Amedeo Maiuri. She is currently a lecturer in history education at Macquarie University and completing a doctorate at Deakin University on history pedagogy in Australian museums.
